Alasdair who represents the Butokukai in Scotland would like to say thank you to Sensei Jean-Michel, Sensei, Max and to their class for their expert instruction and the warmth of their hospitality. It was a pleasure to be in the company of such hard working and positive people. (I wonder if at least some of the Islay Malt is still left to share with Sensei Dominique?)
The Scottish Branch of the Kokusai Butokukai recently enjoyed a training visit to Rebel Martial Arts, Cork, Ireland where we worked on kata interpretations involving pressure points and locks with Paul O' Leary. The visit was funded by Iomairt Chaluim Chille; a programme designed to promote cultural exchange between Gaelic Ireland and Gaelic Scotland.
